ABB Analyze powered by GLIMPSE Announces Release of National Trends Report

Coral Springs, Fla. (May 7, 2020) – ABB Optical Group (ABB) has introduced a national industry trends report through the ABB Analyze, powered by Glimpse, practice management dashboard platform, as part of ABB’s continued efforts to keep eye care professionals (ECPs) informed of critical industry information during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In addition, ABB is offering ECPs the ability to have their practices be part of the report and use it as their own benchmark, by giving them the opportunity to implement the introductory ABB Analyze Lite software at no cost.

The ABB Analyze National Trends report compiles data from users across the country, aggregates and de-identifies such data to provide key industry metrics that ECPs may monitor during the COVID-19 pandemic and as they move into re-opening and recovery of their practices. ECPs who access the trends report can see how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the eye care industry through key metrics such as the average number of open locations, contact lens sales, contact lens capture rate and gross production. ECPs can also see trends on a daily and weekly basis, along with data broken down by region.

"The Analyze National Trends report provides ECPs with valuable daily insights into how eye care practices across the country are faring during this time on any web enabled device,” said Casey Hedberg, ABB Analyze managing director. “This information will be especially important as states begin to come back to life and practices re-open their doors. The information in the Analyze National Trends report will give ECPs the opportunity to identify weaknesses and strengths in order to achieve a competitive advantage.”

The Analyze National Trends report is one of the tools provided by ABB Analyze, which is widely known in the industry for simplifying key business performance metrics into an intuitive, easy-to-interpret dashboard report. ABB Analyze gives ECPs the ability to instantly track their total business performance while quickly identifying opportunities for improvement.

While the new ABB Analyze National Trends report provides valuable insights, an introductory version of the ABB Analyze software, ABB Analyze Lite, which is available at no cost, allows ECPs to monitor their own performance, on a daily basis from any web enabled device.
