ABB Optical Group Names 2025 Finalists for the 11th Annual Optometry Student Challenge
Finalist Presentations to Take Place During Interactive Webinar on Thursday, December 11
Coral Springs, Fla. (November 12, 2025): ABB Optical Group, the largest independent provider of optical services and solutions, is pleased to announce the finalists for the 11th Annual Optometry Student Challenge. Six talented students will showcase their research posters during an interactive webinar scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 8 PM ET. Alongside expert judges, webinar attendees will have the opportunity to cast votes for their favorite submissions, contributing to the final winner selection.
The Optometry Student Challenge will award travel grants of $1,500 each to three winning students selected from the finalists. These third or fourth-year optometry students will attend the 2026 Global Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS) taking place January 7–10 in Las Vegas, NV, where they will present their award-winning scientific posters.
