Primary Eyecare Network Offers Two Educational Events in March Led by Industry Expert Mindi Lewis, ABOC, FNAO

 

ALAMEDA, Calif. (February 19, 2019) – To assist ECPs in managing and growing their business, Primary Eyecare Network (PEN), ABB OPTICAL GROUP's practice management division, is offering two educational events in March, presented by Mindi Lewis, an American Board of Optometry certified optician and National Academy of Opticianry fellow.

The Frame Inventory Management Seminar is 9 to 11 a.m. PT on Wednesday, March 13 and Building a Successful Team is 9 to 11 a.m. PT on Wednesday, March 27. Both will be held at the PEN Education Center, 1750 N. Loop Road in Alameda, Calif.

In the Frame Inventory Management Seminar, Dr. Lewis will cover frame purchasing, handling suppliers, recommended inventory ranges for eye care practices of different sizes and the importance of monitoring frame performance, merchandizing and changing out brands. During the Building a Successful Team seminar, she will provide the fundamentals of human resources that help create a successful practice, including learning essential skills and the nuances of hiring and managing staff while motivating them to higher performance levels. Both seminars are pending approval for two hours of American Board of Optometry continuing education credits.
