ABB OPTICAL GROUP Adds Industry Veteran Mike Evans to Sales Team
Company also appoints Brad Amstutz as area sales director of the east and Glenn Senese as director of new business development
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (January 4, 2018) – ABB OPTICAL GROUP, one of the nation's leading distributors of optical products, has hired industry veteran Mike Evans as the company's area sales director of the west.
Additionally, Brad Amstutz, who managed the company's mid-Atlantic sales team, has been promoted to area sales director of the east. Glenn Senese, who formerly held the east sales director role, will move to the new position of director of new business development.

As area sales director of the west, Evans will focus on continued expansion of daily disposables, specialty lenses and lab orders in his territory.
Prior to joining ABB OPTICAL, Evans was the vice president of sales for Professional Eyecare Resource Co-Operative (PERC), a doctor alliance group with 4,000 members, and Infinity Vision Alliance (IVA). In addition to achieving corporate sales goals, his responsibilities included development of a sales structure and member engagement process as well as a vendor relations approach. He previously held senior sales positions with Johnson & Johnson/Vistakon as well as several other healthcare-focused companies. With more than 20 years of sales experience, Evans began his career in the United States Air Force, where he led missions throughout the world and achieved the rank of captain.
Amstutz also will focus on continued growth of daily disposables, specialty lenses and lab orders as ABB OPTICAL's area sales director of the east.
He joined ABB OPTICAL in January 2017 as a regional sales manager for the company's mid-Atlantic sales team. Under his leadership, his team saw exponential sales growth and regularly exceeded sales forecasts. Prior to joining ABB OPTICAL, Amstutz held positions of increasing responsibility with Bausch + Lomb for 13 years, most recently as one of the company's senior regional business directors.
In his new role, Senese will focus on developing new business for ABB OPTICAL, including maximizing lab opportunities.
Under his leadership as the company's area sales director of the east, his team generated tens of millions of dollars in new business. Senese joined ABB OPTICAL in 2013 from Bausch + Lomb, where he was sales director for the eastern United States. He has more than 25 years of sales experience.
